Oak Ridge Lions Club merges with Oak Ridge Century Lions Club

The first meeting of the "New" Oak Ridge Lions Club formed by the merger of the Oak Ridge Lions Club and Oak Ridge Century Lions Club was held on Monday, August 11, at 12 noon at Ryan’s Steak House in Oak Ridge. As a first step, Century Lions Club president Bill Moody presided over a vote by Century Lions Club Members to ratify the merger of the two clubs, then adjourned the last meeting of the Century Lions Club and called the first meeting of the newly formed Oak Ridge Lions Club to order. The first order of business was election of officers for the new club.

Where you can find us

Beginning in August, the meeting schedule for our new club will be on the second and fourth Mondays at noon at Ryan’s. If you have other questions, you can contact Lion John Sanders at 482-1300 or e-mail him.
